This fabulous silk top hat was made, I believe in the 1930's by Lock & Co of ST James's Street, hatters to the Royal Family.
The hat size is a UK 57-7 and the crown is 6inch tall, it is truly beautiful and I don't think the photos show the actual shape which is very beautiful and it has a 2inch wool band.
Please note that top hats are rigid hats therefore the size should be one up from your usual hat size e.g. If you are size 7 in a soft hat then you will need a 7 ⅛ in a top hat, however sometimes you can get a hat that was made for someone with the exact head shape as yours but rare. If the hat is too big you can pad it but if is too small you can not stretch it.
Condition: Very good vintage condition considering it's age there's no obvious marks.
