Poulsen, Skone & Co. the famous shoe and boot makers of the 19th Century joined New & Lingwood after 110 year of operation fallowed the death of Sidney Skone in 1964.
In1972 Poulsen, Skone joined the Company extending their classic range of shoes. During the 1970s and 1980s, while the great George Cleverley was with the firm, New & Lingwood continued to supply bespoke shoes of superior quality.
Shoes by Poulsen, Skone under Cleverley’s reign in the 1970-80s are highly collectable and even the modern successors are most desirable.
Although these are listed as slippers, it doesn’t mean that you couldn’t wear then out. However if you decide to do so, we advice you to add rubber soles for protection, to prevent the leather soles from wearing out quickly. These shoes are Bespoke from 100% Leather with a gorgeous one piece up style. No shoetrees and No original box.
